Your first season at Black Sails Adventures:

If this is your first season at Black Sails Adventures, you are given during registration (aka when you buy tickets) a starting purse of cubits to purchase a Single/Couple/Triad camp space. You are welcum to use that purse to buy in with friends in a group camp if you so desire. If you need help ask the Land Steward via the Port Authority office.

Not your first rodeo:

After you have purchased your tickets, you can log into the Camping Module and purchase the size of land you want. If you need help please ask the Land Steward via the Port Authority office.

Not your first rodeo, but your purse is light:

If this is not your first season and you find your purse low on cubits, don’t fear, you can take out a loan for a camp space. In order to receive the loan, you will have to have a minimum of 60₡ in volunteer work selected in our volunteer reservation system. Once you have 60₡ worth of volunteer work assigned to you, the loan will be automatically added to your NCA account and you can purchase a Single/Couple/Triad space . It is crucial to our event’s success that we get everyone to support the event by volunteering, this is how we keep costs low. If you need help please ask the Land Steward via the Port Authority office.

Reserving your camp spot:

Once you have access to the camping reservation system you will find there are 4 sizes to choose from. Each size has an assigned cost in cubits (our internal game currency). You may ally with others to purchase land costing more than is currently in your purse. You can transfer cubits between each other to make a larger purchase. Remember to assign all the members of your crew/ship to your camp spot.

Solo Camping

Black Sails Adventures offers solo camping for those people who are camping alone, want to remain alone and want the safety of having staff nearby. To arrange solo camping, reach out to the Land Steward to make arrangements. The Land Steward can be reached via the Port Authority office.

RV's Campers & Tent/Travel Trailers:

We welcome tent trailers, small to mid size travel trailers, & RV’s in our camping area. Our new site is not conducive to Large RV’s. For those attendees who must have their Large RV to sleep in for comfort or medical reasons, we can offer a sleep in only option from parking, please contact our Land Steward via the Port Authority office if this is something your interesed in.

Camp Size:

Black Sails Adventures offers 4 sizes of camps to fit your needs. The land sizes are approximations and you may not get exactly the posted size. This is due to land features or circumstances outside our control. We will always be as fair as possible in ensuring you get what you need. You can purchase more than one spot if you want more and we will do our best to put them together or not if you prefer. On the Single/Couple/Triads size the Land Steward will choose the location where your camp is placed, you will have no say. With all other sizes you can choose where you want to camp based on availability and how well you bribed the Land Steward.

Checking Out:

When the adventure ends and it’s time to leave, we expect everyone to do their part and pack out what they packed in. The land should look better than when you arrived. When you are all packed up and ready to leave, check out with the Land Steward. Get a clean bill of passage back to open waters. This protects you from someone else dumping trash on your land after you have left and you getting the blame.

Camping Check List:

We have created a camping checklist to help you pack successfully for Black Sails Adventures.
