Registration

Registration

The path to adventure begins here...

Before you are 7 steps, cumplete them all or else! You have been warned!!!

At Black Sails Adventures registration is more than simply buying tickets and showing up. Registration takes you through all the steps so when you make landfall you are ready. Something we do differently than other events during our registration is we set up your NCA account. If you don’t know what an NCA account is we suggest you review our website. We have designed our website so that it takes you through most of the questions you might have prior to purchase.

There are 7 steps to registering, missing one will cause you peril on site. If you get stuck and need help reach out to us on social media and we can help

Pier 69 is our reception team at Black Sails Adventures and for Redprick events in general. When you arrive on site these folks will take your ticket and get you your event wristbands. You must have a wristband on at all times. Failure to have a wristband can result in getting kicked from the event.

Move along to step 1

Step 1

Read and understand the event policy manual called the Community Experience

Once you buy a ticket you are responcible for follwing it!

Step 2

In this step you will purchase any tickets, cubits, swag, and more at our event store

Attendees with RV’s do NOT buy tickets until you have read our camping section. Please contact our Land Steward via the Port Authority office if you have addtional questions.

BEFORE you click the ticket icon you will need the following information for you and each of your mates your buying tickets for:

      • Legal First Name
      • Legal Last Name
      • Email Address
      • Pirate, Scene, or Event Name
      • State Issued ID Number
      • Telephone Number

Just so you know you are not just securing your tickets, but also providing the data for your NCA account. We automatically generate your account when you purchase your tickets. Guessing or shenanigans here can delay entry, cause banking issues, or potentially void entry without refund.

Do not think becuase you have your tickets you are done, move to step 3!

Step 3

Receiving your tickets, credentials, and receipt

Go to your email and locate the emails we just sent you. Their subject lines are:

    • Congratulations on your first steps to adventure! (Credentials & Tickets)
    • Your Black Sails Adventures order is now cumplete. (Receipt)

Don’t delay, as soon as you purchase your tickets you should find these emails. Check in your spam folders. If that doesn’t work use your emails search function with the subject lines as the search query. Make sure you have your ticket, it’s a PDF attached to the email.

So you will need to print your tickets. There is additional information that is private to attendees that is on the bottom, you can keep a secret? I have me eye on you.

If you found all your emails and printed your tickets head to step 4!

Step 4

Logging in to the NCA

If this is your second season with us and you remember your credentials you can head to the next step!

Let’s get you educated on what the NCA is and get you logged in. Click the NCA logo, read the information about the NCA and when done, click the link at the bottom of that page and use your new credentials to login to the NCA module. Once logged in, look around, this is your banking interface. You can transfer cubits to any attendee, bribe officials, and check your accounts here. Once you’re done poking around, cum back here and head to the next step.

Step 5

Volunteering at Black Sails Adventures

So step 5 is pretty easy. Click The House icon,  and read why volunteering is important to you. when done click the link at the bottom of the page, sign in, and pick the shifts you like.

Step 6

Camping, this is where you pick your camp spot

This is the last step, like all the others, it is an important step to registering for the event. Everyone who attends will need a camping spot unless you are sleeping off site. Click the camping icon, read about our different camping opportunities. Once you’re done reading the page, click the Camping Reservation module button at the bottom. Log in, and reserve yourself a camping spot. Don’t forget to assign anyone who’s camping with you to your camp spot. Everyone must have a camp spot!

When you’re done that’s it! We assume that you have already seen the rest of our website prior to deciding to register. If not please take the time to visit the pages you haven’t seen. Every one of our pages has value to each of our attendees.

Step 7

Please remember it is your responsibility to teach anyone you bought tickets for all the information you have learned here.

We cannot tell you how many times we have run into people who have no clue about our policies or even the information you have learned completing these steps. Please teach everyone you are paying for what you have learned so their experience isn’t altered because they didn’t know something they should have already learned.
